Senior Clinical Lead – Digital Triage Workforce Aspen Medical is a global provider of innovative healthcare solutions across a diverse range of clients in the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas, Government and Humanitarian sectors. We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Senior Clinical Lead

to oversee and support our digital triage workforce within the Digital Health team.

This role is available as either a full-time or part-time position . In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality virtual healthcare while strengthening workforce capability and driving clinical governance, performance optimisation, and service compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and provide mentoring to Clinical Leads and triage nurses to support consistent, high-quality care.

Monitor and support clinical performance, compliance, and documentation standards.

Oversee incident management, complaints review, and escalation pathways.

Optimise service delivery, call workflows, and escalation processes to meet KPIs and contractual obligations.

Support onboarding, ongoing assurance, and post-training workforce check-ins.

Champion clinical governance, continuous improvement, and regulatory, ethical, and safety compliance.

Lead change activities, including the implementation of new systems, processes, and digital care models.

Provide operational support across communication channels, including Teams Clinical Support and AWS Clinical Lead phone.

Provide regular reporting to leadership on performance, risks, and workforce insights.

Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.

About You You will thrive in this role if you are a strong communicator, calm under pressure, digitally confident, and passionate about building a safe and empowered clinical workforce in a virtual health environment.

Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a

Registered Nurse , with a minimum of five years’ clinical experience.

Proven experience leading clinical teams in a health, telehealth, or digital care environment.

Strong background in clinical governance, compliance, and patient safety.

Experience coaching, supervising, or managing clinical staff and supporting capability uplift.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.

Ability to navigate change, competing priorities, and a fast-paced digital service model.

Highly Desirable

Experience in digital health operations, systems, or virtual care delivery.

Background in training, education, or workforce development (Cert IV TAE or equivalent preferred).

Experience with quality improvement, auditing, risk management or reporting.

Familiarity with digital care platforms, clinical systems and Microsoft Teams environments.
