Job Summary
The IT Business Partner APAC acts as a liaison between IT and business units across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is responsible for driving value through technology solutions and ensuring operational excellence in IT procurement budgeting and stakeholder engagement. This role is also responsible for coordinating the information required for customer bids. The IT Business Partner collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to deliver costโeffective, compliant and innovative IT software that supports business growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
IT Procurement Management
Contract negotiation with suppliers to achieve the best outcome for PERSOL APAC.
Oversee endโtoโend IT procurement activities including sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and management.
Handle recharges to business units based on consumption of IT services.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regional regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all IT purchases, contracts and supplier agreements.
Liaise with vendors and service providers to negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules.
Bid Information Correlation
Collect, organise and provide bid information for IT projects and services across APAC.
Support the preparation and submission of bid documents ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to align bid responses with operational requirements.
Track bid outcomes and maintain a repository of historical bid data for future reference.
Budget Management & Reporting
Support the development, monitoring and reporting of IT budgets for the APAC region.
Track expenditures, identify variances and provide regular financial reports to management.
Assist with financial forecasting, planning and invoice reconciliation for IT purchases.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders providing guidance on IT procurement, budgeting and project delivery.
Communicate IT strategies, procurement timelines and project updates to relevant stakeholders.
Foster collaboration between IT, finance, legal and project teams.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and budget management processes.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regional procurement regulations.
Qualifications
3 years of experience in IT procurement, finance or operations roles, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management and budget tracking.
Experience working with ERP or procurement management systems.
Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with crossโfunctional teams.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT or a related field are desirable.
