Genuine leadership opportunity to become a Director in our Commercial Law team.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer with proven ability to build and shape high performing teams.

We would also consider someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. This is an opportunity to grow your base in a supportive environment and add value through your leadership.

A full client base will be welcomed but is not required for this role, as long as you have a foundation on which to build while you enjoy the firm's pipeline work.

About the Law team Bluerock Law is a boutique commercial law firm, within a larger multi‑disciplinary professional services firm, giving you the best of both worlds.

Our services include Commercial, Property, Employment, Immigration, Wills & Estates, Insolvency, and Dispute Resolution.

We are a team of 35 who enjoy working together to deliver quality commercial outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

Leading a small Commercial team alongside another Commercial Director

Servicing clients and providing advice on a range of commercial matters

Ensuring high quality of work is delivered across the Commercial team

Mentoring and developing lawyers to grow and be their best

Working with the other six Directors and Managing Director to grow and lead the Law Firm

Requirements

All‑rounder experienced commercial lawyer 10+ years PQE.

Solid commercial technical skills, you may also have a specialist within a commercial area

Excellent leader and mentor of staff

Service orientated with a sense of urgency, setting the standard for others to follow

Passion for helping clients big and small

Proven success in business development

Strong practice management skills
