Head of Clinical Applications & Experience Are you a digital healthcare leader passionate about managing Clinical Applications to elevate user experience and optimise business performance? We’re seeking a Head of Clinical Applications & Experience to lead the performance, enhancement, and continuous evolution of Qscan Group’s clinical digital platforms – RIS PACS Patient Portals - ensuring they enable safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will guide the maintenance and advancement of our key clinical systems, leading a team of specialists to enhance system capability, develop integrations, and provide expert support to clinicians across our national network. You will work closely with Clinical Leaders, IT Support, and vendor partners to drive continuous improvement and deliver impactful and leading enhancements.

This is a permanent full‑time position based at our Clayfield Support Office and reporting directly to the General Manager, Digital and Experience.

Hours include spanning clinical operational hours, with participation in an on‑call rotation.

In this role, you will:

Oversee the roadmap and backlog for RIS, PACS, and clinical digital systems, balancing clinical benefit, business value, and technical feasibility.

Lead a team of technical and process specialists responsible for system enhancements, integrations, configuration, and user experience optimisation.

Act as product owner for clinical applications, working with clinical, IT, and vendor stakeholders to prioritise features and deliver improvements.

Manage and participate in Level 2 on‑call support (24/7 rotation), resolving critical incidents and ensuring minimal disruption to clinical workflows.

Drive change and release management activities, including testing, validation, risk assessment, and compliance with safety and privacy requirements.

Collaborate across the Product Management Group to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing clinical systems used by Radiologists and frontline teams.

What You’ll Bring

Significant experience managing clinical applications such as RIS, PACS, or similar digital health systems (experience with Karisma highly regarded).

Strong leadership capability, with experience managing technical teams both operationally & strategically.

Proven ability to translate clinical workflows into digital solutions that improve user experience and patient outcomes.

Experience in incident management, integrations, system testing, and release processes.

Ability to collaborate and influence across clinical, operational, IT, and vendor stakeholder groups.

A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
