The hospital has 375 inpatient beds and each year they care for more than 50,000 patients in the Emergency Department and around 28,000 patients are admitted to the hospital. Located approximately 40 minutes from the Sydney CBD, close to public transport lines. Mental Health is a small service that incorporates a 28 bed Acute Unit, and Community Mental Health, and is very well supported with a full complement of Registrars and dedicated clinicians. Details A Metropolitan NSW hospital requires a Specialist in Psychiatry. To commence ASAP – Ongoing appointment Up to 5 days – TSH will consider all options Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Will require flexibility to support both Community and Inpatient Services, as required Will need to participate in the overnight on-call roster, proportionate to FTE and will need to participate in the day duty roster – Overnight On-call is not onerous, and the service utilises the Virtual Care Hub for ED presentations, when available.
