? The Hobart Clinic is recruiting for Specialist Medical Practitioners – Consultant Psychiatrists to join our team. About this unique opportunity We are keen to hear from all interested Psychiatrists including: Early-career Psychiatrists looking for a supportive clinical team to consolidate your knowledge and experience gained from your RANZCP Fellowship; Mid-career Psychiatrists looking to practice your skills in contemporary psychiatry practices, including a support environment to learn and practice TMS; Late-career/pre-retirement Psychiatrists looking for a flexible role in a cohesive team with an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for the next generation of Psychiatrists and provide much needed mental health services for our community. We are open to the following options: Initial locum contract with transition to ongoing role when you realise what a great place Tasmania is to live and how much you enjoy working at The Hobart Clinic; Direct appointment to an ongoing role because you already know about the joys of living in Hobart and working with us; Any proposal to partner with a like-minded organisation interested in working with us to provide access to much needed Psychiatrists. Full-time or part-time options are available. We offer competitive remuneration packages and support for relocation is available. We will also support Psychiatrists interested in mixed arrangements, for example working part-time as an employee and establishing a private VMO practice. We are also interested in exploring opportunities to provide part on-site and part-remote via telehealth. We operate a 27-bed psychiatric hospital on 7 acres in Rokeby, an outer suburb of Hobart, and The Hobart Clinic MindHub in Hobart CBD providing consulting suites and facilities for therapeutic groups. In a year when many non-government Psychiatric hospitals have been closing down, 2024 is the year that The Hobart Clinic celebrates our 40-year anniversary.
