Role Overview Weโ€™re seeking an experienced Project Director with deep expertise in delivering large-scale industrial projects who is looking to elevate their career with TMX. This role plays a pivotal part in leading the successful delivery of complex projects while building trusted client relationships. Youโ€™ll take a handsโ€‘on approach to both project execution and leadership, working with high-quality clients across our growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project delivery: Drive best-in-class delivery on each project, always focused on achieving optimal client outcomes and long-term value.

Project setup & governance: Establish clear roles and responsibilities across internal teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure efficient project execution.

Team leadership & development: Build and nurture high-performing teams with the capabilities needed to support our growing business.

Client management: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop design briefs, and ensure alignment from concept through to completion.

Drive new opportunities: Support identification, conversion, and delivery of new business in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Culture & performance: Lead by example, embedding a high-performance culture with clear accountability, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

Project systems & safety: Ensure project management systems and safety protocols are robust, adhered to, and continuously improved.

Commercial oversight: Manage contracts (including Construction Contracts, AFLs and Leases), oversee project financials, and ensure projects meet resourcing, margin, and profitability targets.

Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong networks across industry, consultants, and clients to drive successful outcomes.

Superintendent responsibilities: Where applicable, act as Superintendent under the Construction Contract, managing contract administration and compliance.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 10+ yearsโ€™ experience in industrial development, project management or contract administration.

Proven track record in delivering multiple, complex construction projects valued including automation $50M+, preferably within the industrial and supply chain sectors.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management and financial oversight.

Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project; experience with Procore, Aconex, and AutoCAD highly regarded.

Experience acting as Superintendent under Construction Contracts is preferred.
