Senior Hydraulic Engineer

What is your role? You will lead the hydraulic services design on a range of complex building projects, contributing to the delivery of coordinated, sustainable solutions in a multidisciplinary setting.

From concept through to construction, you will work closely with clients, architects, builders and consultants to deliver efficient and code‑compliant systems across water, drainage, gas and stormwater.

You will be responsible for driving technical quality, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to project delivery across a variety of sectors.

About You

You bring

6+ years of experience

in hydraulic services design within the building services sector, with a proven ability to lead medium‑to‑large scale projects.

You have in‑depth technical knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, WSUD principles and authority requirements.

You are confident delivering projects independently, while coordinating with other services such as electrical, mechanical and fire protection.

You have a strong portfolio of work across sectors like commercial, healthcare, education, residential.

You are passionate about sustainability and are experienced in integrating water‑saving initiatives and green building practices into your designs.

You are known for your clear communication, practical problem‑solving skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and are registered (or eligible for registration) as a professional engineer in SA.
