About You
You’re a dedicated General Practitioner with current AHPRA registration, passionate about delivering high-quality care and continuously improving your practice. A confident and clear communicator you are able to build strong relationships and thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’re adaptable, open to travel, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a diverse and welcoming community.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of a welcoming, diverse community, supported by the trusted expertise of the Flying Doctor.
You will be joining a well-supported clinic that empowers you to expand your skills and pursue your interests across all aspects of General Practice, and work with Best Practice software and data tools like PENCat and Cubico. You will be supported by a cohesive team including a Practice Manager, Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care Nurse, Enrolled Nurses, and other Fellow GP’s as well as a team of dedicated admin staff.
Located on the banks of the picturesque Murray River in Victoria’s north-west, Robinvale is a vibrant farming town essential to Australia’s fruit and vegetable production. It’s a place where your clinical skills will be valued and your impact felt.
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, manage follow-up care
Refer patients to other GPs, allied health professionals, or specialists
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records, including My Health Record uploads
Perform procedures when clinically indicated
Deliver health promotion and preventative care
Provide outreach services to aged care and other facilities
Travel to other RFDS Victoria locations as needed

DPA/MM5 location- eligible for FSP, PEP specialist pathways, tripled rural incentive based on MMM5 classification
Better Work Incentive Payments (Doctor Stream) through Services Australia based on MMM5 location
