Job Overview
Domestic Network Connectivity, including remote ATMs; Global Access Network (International MPLS backbone), including overlay SD‑WAN.
Key Responsibilities
Overall 8+ years of experience in the Network domain.
Serve as SME for Network Endpoint connectivity under Telecoms, driving LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi transformation along with Cyber and other Telecom platforms.
Act as SPOC for LAN/WAN and SD‑WAN (an added advantage), responsible for end‑to‑end design and implementation.
Execute production support, create knowledge bases, and produce data for trending and analysis.
Provide technical and process guidance to project teams, delivering projects and acting as a subject‑matter expert for technology, guiding delivery teams for NEC across centers.
Collaborate with group Telecom teams, team leaders, and managers to clarify scope, format, and expectations; liaise with other technology teams for support.
Identify and resolve service delivery issues (SLA slippages, quality, post‑implementation issues, escalations), driving timely closure and implementing actions to eliminate issues.
Organize and lead meetings with regional teams for development or support of deliverables; participate in crisis and global support calls.
Mitigate and record risks early, evaluate and track operational risk, ensuring contingencies are planned.
Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery‑time objectives are met for all delivered solutions.
Engage vendors and drive continuous improvement, enhancements, strategy, and roadmap for NEC.
Qualifications & Skill Set
System engineering background with the ability to compare solutions to meet business requirements.
Knowledge of network technologies: SD‑WAN, WAN/LAN, Wi‑Fi, Cloud, and Automation (CI/CD) with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Hands‑on experience with LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi (preferably Juniper Mist).
Experience on cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
Good to have network security knowledge: firewall, IDS/IPS, DDoS, proxy, etc.
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with stakeholders and external vendors.
Experience collaborating with relevant business units and functions.
Strong team player able to work independently, under pressure, and proactively.
Strong analysis and problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills, able to describe complex technical scenarios concisely.
Proven experience managing relationships with business partners and support teams.
Experience in an infrastructure‑critical environment, understanding how technology adds value to the business and end customer.
Industry standard certifications preferred (CCNP).
Good to Have
Technical skills (Core & Top‑Up).
SD‑WAN, WAN/LAN, Wi‑Fi, Cloud, Automation (CI/CD) with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
