Working closely with respected Principals and senior lawyers, this role offers hands‑on experience with complex commercial disputes and quality advocacy. You will support matters across drafting, legal research, correspondence, and day‑to‑day file management, with increasing autonomy and responsibility as your capability develops. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to accelerate their technical development in a high‑calibre disputes practice.
This role will suit a lawyer with:
4-10 years’ post‑admission experience
Experience assisting on commercial disputes, including contract, shareholder, business and property disputes, negligence, Australian Consumer Law matters, debt recovery and/or insolvency
Exposure to court proceedings and mediations (assisting senior lawyers)
Experience drafting pleadings and professional correspondence
The ability to provide clear, practical client advice under supervision
A team‑oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
A genuine interest in contributing to matter management and the growth of a disputes practice
