The Sovereign Hill Museums Association is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that includes Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum, Sovereign Hill Hotel, AURA, Narmbool, the Australian Centre for Rare Trades and Arts, and the Australian Centre for Gold Rush Collections. The Association cares for a nationally and internationally significant collection of more than 150,000 objects and plays an important role in protecting and sharing the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Victorian gold rush. Role Description

Sovereign Hill is seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis to lead financial reporting and analysis across the organisation. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teams across the business to deliver accurate and timely financial and non-financial reporting that supports informed, data-driven decision making. Key responsibilities include leading monthly and annual financial reporting, maintaining accurate accounting records and ledgers, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing high-quality management reporting and performance analysis. You will also drive improvements in financial reporting processes, manage financial systems to ensure accurate organisational reporting, ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements, and maintain strong relationships with banking, investment and audit providers. The role also works closely with roster managers to support budget-aligned workforce planning. Qualifications

Formal qualification in Business or Accounting CA or CPA qualification preferred At least 8 years’ experience in accounting or finance, including demonstrated experience leading a team Sovereign Hill is committed to child safety.
