Position Terms
Full-Time Permanent Role
Working 3 days in office, 2 from home, located in North Sydney
The Role
The Senior Events Producer and Technical Manager role is an interesting hybrid role where the candidate has to have a good mix of both Producing events experience as well as technical understanding and knowledge and ability to manage requirements for clients. This role will report into a Senior Producer and higher to the owners of the business.
Key responsibilities will include;
Working with the client on their brief and moving from conceptualisation through to project planning and then delivery
Working with Events Managers in the company team on each project to assist them with the creative and technical delivery of events
Delivery of all event requirements and show requirements
Client relationship management and communications
Budget management and reporting
Producing critical paths, timelines, run sheets, contracts
Sourcing suppliers and handling contracts
Up-selling all client services to existing and new clients at all times
Manage on site staff and suppliers
The Candidate
The perfect candidate for this role will have that great hybrid experience, that has produced end to end events previously but also have a great technical knowledge and understanding.
Experience as a Senior Events Producer or Technical Manager
Experience working with Vectorworks seen as a positive for this role
Exceptional client and supplier relationship management skills
Experience working in production and understanding technical requirements is a must
Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience
Creative with an ability to write concepts, scripts and develop proposals
Must love events and have a strong passion for events culture
Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
Be proactive and able to make decisions
Sound budget management experience
Sound judgement and decision making
