About the Role The Northern Territory Police Force (NTPF) is seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead the delivery of complex high-value digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing policing capabilities and community safety. This role is central to the coordination and governance of multiple projects across NT Government agencies ensuring alignment adoption and successful implementation of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple high-value complex business / system projects.

Oversee project streams including internal teams and external vendors.

Ensure successful adoption and integration of solutions into operational environments.

Apply project management methodologies to ensure effective planning and delivery.

Manage risks issues and governance aligned with policing objectives.

Monitor and report on program benefits and outcomes.

Support change management training and communications.

Analyse legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the program.

Communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

5 10 years in program / project management roles.

Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven experience in project planning risk management and delivery.

Demonstrated success in solution adoption and operational integration.

Experience in change management and user engagement.

High-level negotiation and stakeholder liaison skills.

Ability to interpret and apply complex legislative / regulatory requirements.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in large complex and high-profile program environments.

Understanding of IT Service Management frameworks.

Technical knowledge in system analysis design and integration.

Experience in government law enforcement or frontline services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Visio Office Suite JIRA and SharePoint.
