What You Will Be Doing Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the bridge between nutritional science, manufacturing feasibility, and commercial profitability.

Strategic Formulation:

Design and optimise livestock feed rations that balance animal performance with economic efficiency.

Operational Excellence:

Implement SOPs for Bill of Materials (BoMs), act as the "gatekeeper" for new ingredients, and ensure precision in the milling environment.

Commercial Leadership:

Collaborate with Procurement and Commodities to manage ingredient markets and provide the Sales team with the technical edge they need to win.

Technical Figurehead:

Manage major client interactions, explaining the science behind our products to build trust and long‑term relationships.

Mentorship:

Lead the professional development of the sales team and mentor Business Managers across Ruminant and Monogastric sectors.

Who We Are Looking For You are a technical expert who understands that the best formulations are "fit for purpose"—practical for the mill and profitable for the farmer.

The Essentials

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Science, or Veterinary Science (Masters/PhD highly regarded).

Experience:

5+ years in technical management and feed formulation within the stockfeed or livestock industry.

Software Mastery:

Proficient in linear feed formulation software (e.g., Brill, Bestmix, Concept 5, or Format).

Analytical Rigour:

The ability to use data‑driven insights to manage ingredient shadow costings and market trends.

Communication:

A collaborative spirit who can translate complex nutritional data into actionable insights for stakeholders, from the Boardroom to the farm gate.

Compensation

Remuneration:

Base salary up to

$200,000

(commensurate with experience).

Superannuation:

Comprehensive statutory contributions.

Vehicle:

A company car (or allowance) provided for travel as required.
