Head of Digital

Job Overview Beyond Bank, one of Australia’s largest member‑owned mutual banks, is looking for a Head of Digital to lead our digital transformation and deliver a high‑performing digital experience for >340,000 members across 50+ branches. Base salary starting at $200,000, with discussion for the right candidate and experience.

Responsibilities

Guide and lead digital transformation across all digital channels and partner ecosystems.

Develop and execute a clear, customer‑centric digital vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.

Drive digital innovation, stay at the cutting edge, and influence the organisation to adopt emerging technologies.

Lead and empower a high‑performing digital team, manage budgets, forecasts, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with IT, Risk & Compliance to ensure all initiatives meet risk assessment and policy change requirements.

Measure and improve the customer experience across digital touch points, delivering a 24/7 service model.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and launching digital platforms and leading digital transformation.

Degree in technology or related discipline and strong leadership experience managing digital teams.

Deep understanding of digital technology, applications, banking systems, and integration.

Experience aligning digital strategy with overall business strategy.

Strong stakeholder, partner management and communication skills.

Financial acumen and ability to present business cases to executive and board level.
