iSelect What You’ll Be Doing

Assess current state and define target data architecture for operational and analytical applications. Collaborate with project, product, and engineering teams to gather requirements and iteratively design solution architecture. Translate business needs into detailed design specifications aligned with requirements. Create and maintain clear data architecture designs, patterns, and standards. Implement observability and controls for data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Ensure best practices for data integration across APIs, cloud apps, object storage, data warehouses, and external systems. Leverage modern technologies: microservices, orchestration, elasticity, observability, and integration patterns. Qualifications

AWS Associate Architect or other cloud certification highly regarded. Formal architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF) is an advantage. 7+ years in Information Technology, including minimum 2 years as a Data Architect. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build consensus across multi-disciplinary teams. Proven analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical direction. Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Spark (highly desirable). Expertise in dimensional modelling and 3rd normal form modelling. Hands‑on experience with Databricks, AWS data services, Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos, IBM TM1. Knowledge of machine learning and AI (desirable). Industry experience in comparator, digital marketing, insurance, or financial services (desirable).
