Job Description

Overview

Better and fairer care. Always. For more than 175 years, St Vincent’s Care Services has been a leading Catholic provider of aged care services in Australia. You will be joining St Vincent’s as we launch our exciting new vision Bringing Care Home, which will take the best of St Vincent’s care beyond our hospitals and aged care homes directly into the homes of our communities across the country, making care more personal and accessible. Bringing Care Home is more than a strategy. It’s how we’ll deliver care that is better, fairer, and more connected – for everyone we serve. As the Head of Communications – Care Services, you will report directly to the National Director of Communications and Brand with a dotted line to the CEO of St Vincent’s Care Services, and will be responsible for shaping and executing strategic communications across our aged care division in this national portfolio. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and key partner to the Care Services Executive Leadership team, providing high-level strategic counsel while working hands-on to drive both internal and external communications. You will be responsible for developing a national communications and engagement strategy that enhances the visibility, reputation, and voice of St Vincent’s in the aged care sector. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of our Brisbane Group Office, located in Bowen Hills QLD. There may be a requirement to work outside standard business hours and travel interstate occasionally as part of this role. What’s on your resume is important, but what’s in your heart matters more.
