Lead Consultant
Location: Melbourne
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Act as lead consultant and Solution designer, delivering large-scale solutions in the banking and finance industry, including payment systems, loan management system design and implementation.
Drive Agile delivery across projects using frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and GenAI solutions to design and optimize enterprise‑grade applications.
Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high‑value projects aligned with business objectives.
Skills and Knowledge
Banking & Finance Expertise: Deep understanding of financial systems, lending platforms, and regulatory requirements.
Digital Transformation & System Migrations: Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and implementing scalable solutions.
Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of database migration, upgrading legacy databases, and optimizing performance.
Data & Analytics: Hands‑on experience with SQL databases, QlikSense, and Splunk for insights and monitoring.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Design and implement patching solutions on AWS and Azure; support tasks related to EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancer, Route53, SSM, restoration, patching, and performance tuning.
Automate security agent installation in Golden AMI processes and set up centralized FinOps dashboards for cost optimization.
Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and collaboration skills for managing senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
Must Have
Proven experience creating solutions for streamlined deployments and governance.
Expertise in optimizing operational efficiency across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
Strong capability in formulating and documenting technical solutions as per business requirements.
Extensive experience in cloud operations support and cloud migration.
Demonstrated success in delivery leadership and stakeholder engagement.
