The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced

Senior Estimator

to join our team in Thornton. This role is integral to supporting NEPEAN Power’s continued growth within the

Energy & Infrastructure

sectors, with a strong focus on

modular switchrooms, prefabricated electrical buildings, and engineered power distribution solutions .

Reporting to the

Sales & Marketing Manager , you will lead the preparation of complex estimates and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy, commercial competitiveness, and alignment with customer and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead detailed estimating for

Energy & Infrastructure projects , including modular and prefabricated electrical solutions

Review technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to produce accurate costings

Prepare high‑quality tender submissions, schedules, pricing documents, and supporting material

Identify commercial and technical risks and provide informed recommendations to support bid decisions

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to validate scope, timeframes and constructability

Liaise professionally with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and support technical discussions

Maintain accurate estimating records and CRM data

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior or developing estimators within the team

About You We are looking for a Senior Estimator who brings:

Strong experience in estimating for

Energy & Infrastructure

projects

Experience in

modular switchrooms, prefabricated electrical buildings , electrical distribution, or industrial power systems

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

Outstanding written and verbal communication

Strong attention to detail and organisational capability

Ability to work autonomously and contribute to strategic tendering decisions

Professional presentation and a strong customer‑centric approach
