Our client is well regarded as the leading provider of HVAC solutions across residential and commercial sectors in Geelong. Entering a new chapter of growth, we are looking for a hands-onGeneral Managerto lead operations, drive business development, and shape the future of this company. With the bulk of its clients currently sitting in the residential sector, they are looking to take a quantum leap in the supply, installation and maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC in the commercial sector with a pipeline of over 70 prospects, ready to activate their services.

About the Role You’ll be responsible for developing relationships that lead to business opportunities, quoting and pricing larger jobs with a team to support you for smaller projects while building your team in installation and maintenance (from a previous outsourced strategy to inhouse technicians). You will be supported by head office in corporate services (IT, HR, Legal, and other shared services needs). This will free you up to work closely with clients and your team ensuring projects run smoothly, meet compliance standards, and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Build strong relationships with builders, developers, and clients

Lead and manage HVAC operations across residential and commercial projects including day-to-day operations, installations, service delivery and maintenance

Ensure all jobs/projects are quoted with accuracy and confidence

Ensure service delivery meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

A solid operator, ready for your next opportunity. You may come from installation, estimating or project management of Airconditioning and/or commercial HVAC projects.

HVAC trade qualification or certification (essential)

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and service contracts

Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills

Comfortable working with builders, architects, and clients and being the face of the business at business/industry events

Familiarity with job management and quoting systems
