the role
As the Director of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at All Saints' College (ASC) and its Fremantle campus, The Studio School (TSS), you will play a key role in shaping and driving our progressive ICT Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring our technology is reliable and fit for purpose. As a senior leader, you'll collaborate with colleagues in all areas to support our vision and lead our digital transformation efforts.
In this role, you will oversee the Technology Support Centre (TSC), ensuring smooth and efficient technology operations across ASC and TSS. With your strategic mindset, you will continuously develop our ICT capabilities, ensuring that systems are innovative and dependable. Your leadership and expertise will be vital in supporting our mission through innovative and effective ICT solutions.
key responsibilities
In collaboration with senior leadership, define our innovative and progressive ICT strategic plan, supporting innovative teaching, learning, and work practices.
Lead and manage ICT functions and services, ensuring the technology infrastructure aligns with best practices.
Review constantly our cyber security, business continuity and data breach plans to protect the College's systems.
Lead our TSC staff, supporting their ongoing professional development and building the capacity of the team.
Ensure reliable, secure and efficient ICT services across ASC and TSS.
Collaborate effectively with all teams across ASC and TSS to meet the ICT needs of our staff and students.
Ensure the security and maintenance of ICT assets, including cloud and on-premise systems, and manage the mobile device scheme.
In collaboration with senior leadership, create and then manage the department’s annual opex and capex budgets.
Manage effective vendor relationships to see the provision of high‑quality services.

You are an experienced and visionary ICT leader with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for driving technological innovation. With a proven ability to manage complex ICT environments, you are skilled at ensuring reliable and secure systems that enhance operational efficiency and support the educational needs of ASC and TSS.
As a collaborative leader, you work well with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and are adept at leading teams through change. Your knowledge of current ICT trends and your focus on best practices will help ensure ASC and TSS remain at the forefront of ICT in education.
qualifications
Demonstrated experience in leading ICT strategy and operations in a medium to large organisation.
Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, security and cloud‑based solutions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in effectively managing budgets, staff and vendor relationships.
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) and National Police Clearance.
Experience in ICT within the education sector.
Familiarity with implementing cutting‑edge technology in educational environments.
