Job Description

Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer

$120,000 Package 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract - Immediate Start Melbourne (Hybrid)

We’re searching for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the APAC Chief People Officer during a 12-month maternity leave cover. This is a unique opportunity to step into a fast‑paced, highly visible role at the centre of the APAC HR function — one that blends senior executive support, strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.

This is far more than traditional diary management. You’ll act as a trusted partner to the CPO, a key liaison across the APAC HR leadership team, and the person who ensures the function runs smoothly day to day.

About the Role Reporting directly to the APAC Chief People Officer, you’ll provide high‑level executive support while also coordinating key HR initiatives and communication rhythms across the region. You’ll anticipate needs, manage complex priorities and ensure the CPO is fully enabled to execute on strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide proactive, high-level support to the APAC Chief People Officer across all priorities, meetings and leadership commitments.

Act as a central connection point between the CPO and the APAC HR Leadership Team, ensuring alignment, clarity and seamless flow of information.

Manage confidential matters with discretion, sound judgement and professionalism.

Manage complex APAC / global calendars, competing priorities and time‑critical requests.

Coordinate end-to-end logistics for leadership meetings, offsites, presentations, agendas and materials.

Oversee travel arrangements, itineraries, expenses and event logistics.

Support the CPO with drafting polished internal communications, talking points, updates and presentation materials.

Work with Centres of Excellence to compile inputs, prepare executive‑ready documents and support regional communications.

Ensure messages are consistent, clear and aligned across APAC.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives in a large, fast‑paced organisation.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders and priorities.

Exceptional written communication skills and a knack for crafting high‑quality decks and presentations.

Confident partnering with senior leaders and navigating complex stakeholder environments.

Highly proactive, solutions‑focused, resilient and comfortable working at pace.

APAC or regional experience is advantageous but not essential.

If you believe your experience aligns with the above, please apply online to the attention of Ellie Stock referencing Job 3986446.
