Solutions Architect

EL2-level Solution Architect for the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The role sits in the Crack Down on Fraud (CDoF) initiative and focuses on enhancing NDIA’s core technology platforms.

Location: NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA (Hybrid). Must obtain baseline security clearance. Australian citizens only.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and documentation of complex, enterprise‑grade solution architectures.

Ensure solutions are robust, secure, accessible, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Collaborate across business, project, and technical teams to drive architectural coherence.

Provide technical oversight and manage resolution of complex delivery issues.

Represent the architecture function in stakeholder engagements and inter‑agency forums.

Align solutions with enterprise frameworks, principles, and roadmaps.

Skills & Experience

10+ years’ experience in architecture with broad technical expertise.

Proven experience leading the design of complex enterprise platforms.

Strong integration experience, including Salesforce and enterprise CRM systems.

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Deep experience balancing competing project, program, and strategic priorities.

Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Experience acting as bridge between business needs and ICT capabilities.

Experience in government, health, or insurance sectors.

Desirable Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related field.

TOGAF certification or similar; exposure to Azure or AWS.

Background in enterprise architecture or program‑level solution design.

Experience in law enforcement or digital forensics contexts.
