Head of Community Engagement & Communications Strategic Leadership Role | Marketing, Community & Advancement

An established and values-led organisation is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Community Engagement & Communications to lead a multi-disciplinary portfolio spanning marketing, communications, community engagement, alumnae relations, partnerships and admissions positioning.

This is a middle leadership opportunity for a strong strategic operator who can integrate brand, community, growth and reputation into a cohesive and forward-looking function.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for leading and aligning a diverse portfolio including:

Marketing and digital communications

Brand and reputation management

Community engagement and events

Alumnae engagement and partnerships

Philanthropic alignment and stakeholder stewardship

Strategic oversight of admissions positioning

Major milestone initiatives and flagship projects

You will lead a small team of specialists and oversee the development and execution of strategy across engagement, communications and growth functions.

About You You are a strategic thinker and capable operator who can move confidently between vision and execution. You bring:

Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing, communications or community engagement functions

Strong strategic planning and execution capability

Experience managing brand, stakeholder engagement and reputation

The ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

A data-informed and outcomes-focused approach

Experience within education, not-for-profit, membership or community-based environments will be highly regarded.
