Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future architecture and enabling bold transformation for a dynamic Australian telco. You will architect modern, secure, and scalable solutions to enable agility, enhance digital experiences, and support a post-merger integration journey. This role is within the Products Mission team, responsible for designing and enabling market-facing Product offerings across Enterprise and Wholesale portfolios.

The Opportunity Senior Solution Architect in a dynamic Australian telco, tasked with designing and enabling market-facing product offerings, supporting post‑merger integration and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Define and govern end‑to‑end solution architectures across BSS & OSS domains, aligned to strategic transformation and enterprise blueprints.

Lead architecture activities for major initiatives, including New Product Introduction, M&A integration, and digital transformation.

Apply TMF ODA‑aligned principles to ensure architectures are modular, composable, and reusable.

Champion Secure by Design practices and ensure architectural conformance with security and compliance obligations.

Collaborate with Mission Leads, engineers, and peer architects to ensure alignment to business outcomes.

Essential Skills and Experience

10–15 years’ experience in solution architecture, with at least 6 years in the telecommunications sector.

Demonstrated success delivering architecture in complex transformation or M&A initiatives involving functional or logical separation.

Expertise in architecture frameworks and industry standards (e.g., TMF ODA, Secure by Design).

Strong consultative skills, proven ability to lead and influence outcomes, and the ability to manage ambiguity.

Desirable Experience

Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs or MEF SONATA APIs, and experience with platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Billing systems (e.g., Amdocs or IBM).
