A metropolitan hospital in South Australia is seeking a Psychiatry RMO or Registrar to join its

Consultation Liaison team

for a short-term locum placement. This role involves providing psychiatric input across general medical and surgical wards, supporting patients with complex mental health needs in an acute care setting.

Service Overview:

The Consultation Liaison service delivers timely psychiatric assessments, care planning, and coordination for patients admitted with comorbid physical and mental health conditions. The team works closely with inpatient units, emergency services, and community mental health teams to ensure continuity of care and recovery-focused treatment.
