We’relooking for a passionate and skilled Traffic Engineer or Senior Traffic Engineer to join ourPlanning and Mobilityteam inPerth. Whetheryou'rebuilding on a solid foundation or stepping into a leadership role, this is your opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact transport projects that shape how people move through cities and communities.
What You’ll Do
This isa great opportunityfor an experienced Traffic Engineer to provideexpertiseon :
Project Delivery
Contribute to or lead small to mid-sized traffic engineering projects across planning, design, and delivery phases.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, client-focused transport solutions.
Technical Analysis & Design
Undertake traffic impact assessments, intersection and network modelling, and access strategies.
Develop concept designs for intersections and active transport networks, incorporating road safety and multimodal transport.
Client Engagement & Proposals
Support or lead client engagement to understand project needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Assistin or lead the preparation of technical proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, safety-in-design principles, and SHEQ requirements.
Conduct or support road safety audits and crash data analysis.
Team Collaboration & Development
Work closely with peers and senior staff to share knowledge and develop technical capabilities.
Participate in professional development initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Civil or related field).
2–10 years’ experience in traffic engineering.
Proficiencyin SIDRA,LinSig, AutoCAD, andAutoTURN. Skills inGIS,Aimsun, orVissimwill be well regarded but are not essential.
RoadSafetyAuditor accreditation (desirable).
Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills.
Australian working rights.
