Credit Officer

About Your Role

Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Credit Officer to join our collaborative Credit Team, located at our Head Office in Archerfield. This is a permanent full-time role, responsible for ensuring a strong cash flow is maintained for the Hastings Deering Group of Companies through the collection of payments from customers. You will be responsible for looking after a ledger of customers and provide support to the overall collection from all customers. Reporting to the C, you will be required to :

Conduct customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accounts Resolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholders Review and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level Complete and return all reports to the Credit Team Leader You will also be required to develop strong working relationships with customers and conduct regular ledger reviews with key stakeholders! About you

You are a skilled Credit Officer , with previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal & external customers, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities is required. Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial information along with a strong technical / mathematical background, working with numbers and using Microsoft Office at an advanced level is essential. A Diploma of Credit, Business, Accounting or related discipline will be to your application. About the Benefits
