Dermatology for Animals (DFA)
is seeking an experienced clinician to join our specialist-led team in Brisbane, Australia. This is a rare opportunity to step into an established caseload with the potential for future leadership or even ownership.
About Us
Founded in 1998, DFA has been providing expert dermatological care to pets across Queensland, the Northern Territory, and parts of New South Wales. Our Brisbane base is located within the Queensland Veterinary Specialists (QVS), where we have dedicated consult rooms, office space, and access to state-of-the-art diagnostics including CT and MRI.
You’ll join a highly respected team that includes Specialist Dermatologists Dr. Mike Shipstone, Dr. John Hutt, and Dr. Jeylan Aslan, supported by a registrar and two dermatology residents.

We’re looking for a Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist who’s excited by more than just clinical work—you’re someone who wants to shape the future of a respected service. Candidates who have completed residency training and are intending to sit specialist exams soon are invited to apply.
