We’re on the lookout for a driven and commercially savvy
Group Accountant
to take ownership of our financial operations and play a key role in shaping Karmo’s continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and loves combining hands‑on financial management with strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
Overseeing financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions
Managing month‑end processes including journals, reconciliations, and financial rollovers
Preparing management reports, budgeting, and forecasting
Reviewing payroll processes to ensure compliance with timesheets and approvals
Approving and coding invoices while maintaining accurate financial tracking
Supporting KPI reporting and participating in financial performance meetings
Developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Managing compliance with statutory and regulatory financial obligations
Leading and mentoring the finance and administration team
Supporting audits, risk management, and strategic financial planning initiatives
Driving system enhancements and finance process improvements
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory obligations
Proven experience managing or mentoring a team
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting capability
Experience liaising with external stakeholders (banks, auditors, brokers)
CA or CPA qualification (highly regarded)
Experience within automotive or operational industries (desirable)
