As a Room Leader with One Tree Kalkarindji Children’s Service, you will help lead the team to ensure the service is providing high-quality early childhood education in a remote Aboriginal community. Selection criteria

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the Early Childhood sector

Experience working within a remote community

Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning

Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team

Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level

Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks

Ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children

Requirements

Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Kalkarindji, NT

Hold a valid and current Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or (ACECQA approved equivalent)

Hold a valid NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check)

Current National Police Clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
