Senior Software Engineer

Fully Remote | Australia or New Zealand | Full-time Build software that matters - for real communities. We’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our software, mentoring others, and raising the bar on quality, reliability, and customer impact.

What You’ll Do – Lead by example, hands on

Design and build

scalable, cloud-native solutions using modern C#/.NET on Azure

Contribute directly to production code while guiding architectural decisions

Drive

clean API design , security, and maintainability across the platform

Deliver

production-ready, well-tested code (unit, integration, E2E)

Help evolve our

CI/CD pipelines , DevOps and DevSecOps practices

Improve system

observability, monitoring, and incident response

Mentor and collaborate

Support and mentor other engineers through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

Work closely with Product and UX to balance

customer value, technical debt, and reliability

Promote strong documentation and shared engineering standards

Continuously improve

Identify opportunities to improve tooling, workflows, and engineering practices

Bring a growth mindset - experimenting thoughtfully with new approaches and technologies

What You Bring

8+ years of full-stack software development experience

Strong expertise in

C# (.NET Core / modern .NET)

Experience building SaaS platforms on Azure , including containerisation and/or serverless

Solid background in

API design , security, and system integration

Experience with

modern frontend frameworks (Angular & Next.js)

A track record of

mentoring others and raising team capability

A pragmatic, customer-focused mindset, you care about outcomes, not just code
