Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor with APM WorkCare, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work, and help them to reconnect with what matters most.
What your day looks like:
Working full-time or part-time as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, expect your day to be filled with variety and real impact where you’ll:
Meet clients in person or virtually to understand their goals and challenges
Conduct meaningful vocational and psychosocial assessments
Provide supportive counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life
Create achievable return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners

What you’ll bring:
A degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology
Full registration and membership with ASORC, AASW or AHPRA
Pass a National criminal history check prior to commencing employment
Min 18 mths + experience working in a similar role
A current WWCC (Working with children check)
Full Australian working rights
A driver’s licence, access to a vehicle (ideally your own) and willingness to support clients residing in and around the Northern Metro suburbs (Broadmeadows) Victoria.
Please note this position is contingent upon the successful completion of all mandatory pre-employment checks, which may include background verification in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
