ThePersonal BankLegal team works closely withNAB’sHome OwnershipDomainto help drivesimplification oftheend-to-end home lending journey. The team also works closely withNAB’sEveryday Banking Domain toassistwith developing world classproducts coveringtransaction and savings accounts, personalloansand credit cards.

The main challenge of the role will be to ensure that the respectiveDomains are getting simpler and more customer and banker focussed whilst still meeting legal and regulatory requirements.You will work closely witha supportive team of talentedlawyers to ensure stakeholders receivetimelylegal support to delivergreatoutcomes for NAB anditscustomers.

Each day, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership team to goabove and beyondto:

Advise on product and process simplification initiatives tomake both Domains faster, more resilient and more customer focused.

Advise on new product initiativestodelight customers and supportbusinessgrowth.

Deliveraccurate,strategicandtimelylegal advice to ensure that business initiatives are delivered safely and in line with regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate a passion for customers to help drivebetter customer experiences and outcomes in relation topersonal bankingproducts.

Identifyprocess improvementsandefficienciesto uplift our ways of working.

We are looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers.You’llneed: You are an experienced lawyer who thrives on legal excellence and professionalism in actively managing legal risk in line with commercial and strategic priorities.

Minimum[8years]PQE as a lawyer at a legal firm or in-house

Bachelor of Laws qualification and admission to legal practice in Australia

Demonstratedexperience in advising on financial services regulatory matters (including National Consumer CreditProtectionAct and/orCorporations Act requirements)essential

Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and partnering approach

Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation and time management
