QLeave is seeking a skilled and creative Communications Advisor (AO4) to join our Stakeholder and Corporate Affairs team. About QLeave QLeave is a statutory body administering portable long service leave schemes for workers in the building and construction, contract cleaning and community services industries. We manage more than $2 billion in funds under investment and play a crucial role in ensuring workers receive the long service leave they've earned.

The Opportunity As a Communications Advisor, you will work collaboratively with the Communications Officer and Manager Stakeholder and Corporate Affairs to deliver internal and external communication activities that promote QLeave's corporate brand and build positive awareness of its services.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to QLeave's strategic communication goals, develop engaging content across multiple platforms, and support the continuous improvement of communication initiatives. This position reports to the Manager Stakeholder and Corporate Affairs and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver internal and external communication activities that promote positive awareness of QLeave and a strong corporate brand.

Create and edit newsletters, videos, presentations, and other corporate information.

Liaise and build working relationships with managers, QLeave staff, and external suppliers to ensure the consistent delivery of communication activities.

Create content for QLeave's web and intranet sites, ensuring they provide accurate, meaningful, and timely information while complying with standards, policies, and legislation.

Monitor and report on the use of QLeave's web and intranet sites.

Manage QLeave's social media calendar, including creating posts and reporting on performance.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication activities by researching and identifying opportunities to enhance internal and external engagement.

Assist with other duties as requested by the Manager Stakeholder and Corporate Affairs.

What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who brings technical expertise, creativity, and a proactive mindset.

You will be successful in this role if you can demonstrate your ability to:

Use your understanding of communications to support the Manager Stakeholder and Corporate Affairs and provide communication advice to internal stakeholders.

Balance conflicting demands and work independently to meet deadlines.

Communicate clearly and professionally in writing, with strong attention to detail.

Use Microsoft Office and content management systems such as Squiz Matrix and SharePoint effectively.

Demonstrate experience with tools such as Vision6, Survey Monkey, Canva, and video editing programs (desirable).

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. However, qualifications and experience in communications, marketing, or a similar field are highly desirable.
