Role Description This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to join Synergy’s executive leadership team as

Executive General Manager – Future Energy . You will provide strategic leadership to accelerate the organisation’s transition to a low‐carbon, sustainable and resilient energy future. The role shapes and directs future energy strategy, driving innovation in renewable generations, decarbonisation pathways, energy storage, emerging technologies and system integration, and ensures alignment with government energy policy, climate goals and the organisation’s long‑term growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Champion Synergy’s transition to a low‑carbon, resilient energy future.

Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, affordable and clean energy programs.

Oversee asset management and operational performance of renewable portfolios.

Develop DER operational capability and integration into the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM).

Drive the expansion of Synergy’s renewable generation capacity.

Foster a high‑performance culture aligned with Synergy’s strategic goals.

What You Will Bring

Extensive executive experience in complex, high‑impact organisations.

Proven success in delivering large‑scale capital projects and navigating political environments.

Deep expertise in renewable energy generation, strategy, and commercial operations.

Experience with acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
