Senior Account Director — Agribusiness Dentsu Creative Public Relations

is seeking a Senior Account Director to lead our agribusiness and sustainability practice on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves creating and executing integrated public relations strategies, safeguarding key client relationships, and driving measurable business outcomes for major agribusiness accounts.

Leadership & relationship management : Own senior relationships across a portfolio of major agribusiness clients; set cadence, protect satisfaction, and maintain renewals.

Strategic growth : Identify whitespace within existing accounts; craft proposals and cross‑practice programs that deliver measurable value and margin.

Integrated work delivery : Orchestrate PR, stakeholder engagement, content, social, issues/crisis preparedness, and event activations end‑to‑end.

Team coaching : Guide a team, build skills, set quality standards, and create a calm, accountable delivery culture.

Senior counsel : Provide advice on policy‑sensitive topics, scientific/technical narratives, and sector reform; simplify complexity for executives and boards.

Performance visibility : Set KPIs, establish dashboards, and translate impact into business outcomes.

Industry representation : Lead thought leadership and presence at major agriculture and sustainability events; nurture relationships that strengthen our market position.

Qualifications

Deep agribusiness credibility: Demonstrable experience with organisations such as RDC councils, commodity groups, agribusiness conglomerates, agtech, and producer/extension networks.

Account leadership: 7–10+ years in communications or consulting; proven retention of large accounts and program growth.

Network & vision: A live network in Agri; instincts for industry trends (sustainability, biosecurity, productivity, digital, workforce).

Communication craft: Excellent writing, narrative framing, and issues management; ability to set clear scope, budgets, and timelines.

Team‑first mindset: Humility, curiosity, high EQ, coaching energy; no ego, plenty of collaboration.
