Happy Paws Happy Hearts (HPHH) is a national not-for-profit connecting socially isolated Australians with animals in need through life‑changing programs. From Darwin to Tasmania, our work harnesses the power of the human–animal bond to build confidence, skills and genuine connection—while supporting rescue animals on their journey to adoption, or assistance dogs in training.
In partnership with shelters and training centres, we deliver hands‑on experiences that grow independence, wellbeing and vocational pathways.

About the role
As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Revenue and Marketing leads the national growth of HPHH by strengthening our fundraising, partnerships and marketing efforts across Australia. This role is perfect for an experienced, hands‑on fundraising leader who enjoys driving strategy while staying close to delivery.
You will oversee a small, high‑performing team across fundraising, marketing, business development and impact measurement. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll shape and execute our revenue, engagement and brand strategy; build strong philanthropic and corporate relationships; and identify new opportunities that grow our reach, reputation and sustainability.
This is a national role, based in Brisbane, with some interstate travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Secure targeted grant funding and drive revenue generation to support organisational growth and impact.
Build and manage a strong portfolio of corporate partnerships that deliver exceptional fundraising outcomes and long‑term value.
Lead, coach and empower a high‑performing Revenue Generation & Engagement team across Outcomes & Evaluation, Business Development and Marketing functions.
Develop high‑quality partnership proposals, grant applications and impact reports that clearly communicate outcomes and opportunity.
Leverage data and insights to measure performance, demonstrate impact and inform strategies for growth and innovation.
Foster positive, collaborative relationships with philanthropic supporters, donors and location partners.
Identify and pursue new income streams, in‑kind support and brand‑building opportunities.
Support key organisational priorities and major partnership projects, including campaigns, media, stakeholder engagement and events.
Manage budgets and oversee key suppliers, agencies and service providers to ensure high‑quality, on‑brand delivery.
What you’ll bring
3–5 years’ experience in senior fundraising, corporate partnerships or business development within the not‑for‑profit or NGO sector.
Demonstrated experience leading high‑performing teams and fostering a positive, accountable and supportive work culture.
Proven success developing and delivering partnership, corporate fundraising and grant strategies that achieve revenue targets.
Experience planning and executing marketing initiatives that support revenue, brand recognition, and organisational growth.
Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen and the ability to build credible, strategic relationships.
Established industry networks and sound understanding of best‑practice partnership management and grant processes.
Excellent proposal writing, pitching and presentation capabilities.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with budgeting, pipeline management and performance reporting.
Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and confidence working to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of the NDIS and disability services landscape, or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.
Competency with business systems, including CRMs and Microsoft Office; experience with Zoho or similar CRM is highly regarded.
Current Queensland Driver’s Licence (essential).
Ability to travel nationally as required.
Current or ability to obtain Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker screening.
