About the opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a

Organisational Development and Diversity Partner

to join the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM). This

12-month maternity leave contract

offers a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance, inclusive culture across the organisation.

You will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development programs that strengthen workforce capability and engagement. This includes initiatives in workforce planning, learning and development, talent management, leadership development, employee engagement and cultural change. A key responsibility is embedding diversity and inclusion principles into all initiatives and managing the implementation of DEMโ€™s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and associated action plans, including Gender Equality and Respect, Reconciliation and Disability Access and Inclusion.

The role also involves providing expert advice on organisational trends and data, facilitating workshops and focus groups, and representing DEM on diversity, equity and inclusion committees. Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in leading the design, delivery, facilitation and implementation of organisational development and change initiatives.

Experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives and managing Reconciliation Action Plans.

Exceptional communication skills and ability to establish and maintain networks and collaborative relationships.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in all aspects of project management including identifying and establishing key project outcomes and measures.

Qualifications Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Management or similar. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Remuneration Salary range $98,478-$104,165 per annum plus superannuation 12 month contract ASO6 Classification Full-time role (37.5 hours per week).

Special Conditions

This is a designated position requiring a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
