A bit about the role
Here at Youth Projects, a Recruitment Partner is responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful employment pathways for young people in your community in accordance with the Transition to Work program. This role requires you to leverage your business development and stakeholder relationship skills in order to identify and secure meaningful and ongoing employment opportunities that address our clients unique needs and interests.
This role is much more than just filling vacancies. You’re building and nurturing positive working relationships with clients and local employers, understanding their needs and providing them with tailored solutions to their challenges along the way. The best part? All your hard work means stronger employment opportunities for young people in your community, a key determinant in breaking the cycle of disadvantage.
Please note: this is a fixed term contract until 01/07/2027.
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
Stakeholder relationship management: Find, engage, and maintain relationships with local businesses to find job opportunities and secure repeat placements.
Provide holistic support: Coach, motivate, and guide program participants, addressing barriers to work and preparing them for sustainable employment.
Work toward KPI’s: Work towards hitting placement and engagement targets through outreach, networking, event promotion and much more!
Key requirements:
Certificate IV in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, Career Development or similar discipline
Proven experience in Employment Services, Mentoring or Recruitment
Exceptional ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
Strong administration skills with competency in all Microsoft Office applications
