Senior Project Manager – Energy & Utilities We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager with a strong background in energy and utilities to join a major Australian provider on a 6-month rolling contract based in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical technology initiatives that support the evolution of energy delivery and customer service in a dynamic and regulated environment. WHAT’S ON OFFER Melbourne-based hybrid role $1100/day inclusive of superannuation 6-month rolling contract with strong extension potential Work with one of Australia’s largest and most innovative energy & utilities providers THE ROLE Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology projects within the energy and utilities domain. Oversee the implementation of digital platforms, customer solutions, metering, asset management, or grid technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, operations, and regulatory affairs. Drive planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting. Ensure stakeholder alignment across internal departments and external vendors. Deliver high-impact outcomes in environments with strong compliance, operational, and customer expectations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile delivery in project teams. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5+ years as a Senior Project Manager with experience in energy, utilities, or essential infrastructure Proven track record managing complex technology projects across metering, distribution, network systems, or customer platforms Strong grasp of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) Highly developed stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills Exceptional problem-solving and organisational abilities Experience navigating regulated environments and operational constraints Strong communication and reporting skills at all organisational levels PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience delivering projects in electricity, gas, water, or renewable energy sectors Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, field services, or outage management systems Knowledge of Australian energy market structures and compliance frameworks Please note:
