The Opportunity Join our expanding specialist tax consulting team which offers income tax and GST advisory services and is seeking to recruit a Tax Manager.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside Directors and other service lines to consult clients on a wide variety of generalist income tax and GST issues including business sales, restructures, various CGT concessions and rollovers, tax consolidations and international tax issues.

You would ideally have a background in corporate tax consulting in either a Big 4 or a significant second tier accounting practice. Candidates with corporate business experience will also be considered.

We support flexible work arrangements and we also welcome applicants on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Prepare tax technical research and written advice on income tax and GST matters

Interpret legislation, case law, and ATO guidance to support client solutions

Manage client communications and ensure timely delivery of engagements

Scope, quote, and lead tax consulting assignments

Supervise and mentor junior team members as needed

About You

Strong tax technical knowledge and commercial insight

Experience interpreting legislation, case law, and ATO guidance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proactive approach to identifying tax issues and delivering solutions

Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Commerce

CA, CTA, or CPA certification is highly desirable
