About the Agency As the steward for digitally enabling Australia’s health system, the Agency plays a key role in coordinating national engagement, delivery, and adoption of digital health to facilitate person-centred, connected healthcare. Our responsibilities span national digital health services and systems, including My Health Record, Electronic Prescriptions, and the MyHealth App. About the Role A Senior Test Manager – System Integration position has been created in the Solution Delivery team in response to the Agency transitioning the System Integration function from a key external delivery partner. • Manage test delivery with vendors and internal staff to ensure that across projects the delivery remain within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets as defined with project teams. • Analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalating issues and risks to project • Manage the development of test plans, test cases and supporting test data and/or requirements. • Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications, including Managing Defect Triages and meetings. • Oversee all test phases across value streams and projects. • Experience in automation testing, API testing test management tools, would be highly desirable. What You’ll Bring • 5 - 10 years’ experience managing a technical testing team. • Have strong technical skills/understanding with experience in delivery of large mission critical systems, various cloud environments and large databases and applications like Oracle. • Experience in standard development, delivery and operational processes like SDLC, COBIT, Prince2, ISO9001, ITSM, SIAM or similar. • Working with and implementing project delivery and testing tools in a DevOps/DevSecOps framework. • Degree in IT, Engineering or related field is desirable. • Professional certification and minimum 1 year practical experience in CMMi or TMMi. • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check. • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency. • Salary packaging (also known as salary sacrifice) is available. • Our Wellbeing Sessions & Employee Assistance Program will give you the best opportunity to balance work and life • Work From Home & Attractive Flexible Working Arrangements: All staff can apply for flexible work arrangements that offer a range of options for how, when and where you work. • Collaborative workspaces with new technology available within central locations. • Generous leave opportunities including Parental (primary & secondary), compassionate, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Leave, Cultural, Emergency Response, Defence, and Half Pay option. • TOIL: in lieu of reasonable hours worked is offered to EL classified staff Additional Information The position maybe filled in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra. This role offers between $120,486 - $137,417 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience. Order of Merit: Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.
