People Director - Anz

Drive organisational transformation in ANZ, coach leaders for impact, strengthen governance, embed a compliance culture and deliver growth, within Entain's global network. Partner with the CEO – elevate leadership, shape culture and drive organisational transformation in an innovative and high‑performing global business. Lead the ANZ People agenda – embedding world‑class HR frameworks and aligning with an international network. Influence across geographies – bringing a global mindset and impact to this senior, high‑profile role. Entain is a global powerhouse in sports betting, gaming and interactive entertainment, operating in over 40 countries with close to 30,000 people worldwide – including 1,200 in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO on transformation and organisational design, building leadership strength to deliver strategic priorities.

Embed global HR processes – including talent frameworks, performance management and succession planning – ensuring consistency and best practice across all markets.

Lead and inspire the ANZ People team, building cohesion and shared purpose, even within a global reporting structure.

Represent ANZ on the Global Talent Council and contribute to designing innovative international people solutions.

Qualifications

Commercial acumen – the ability to assess, coach and elevate leaders to innovate, embed a compliance‑led customer‑focused culture and deliver business outcomes.

Chemistry with the CEO – the trust, confidence and courage to challenge constructively and bring out their best and enable the impact of the leadership team.

An international mindset – experience in, or curiosity about, operating within a global framework and aligning regional needs with group strategies.

Influence and credibility – sharp intellect, high EQ and the ability to connect local execution with global strategy.
