Job Description Exciting part‑time opportunities are now available for Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUM) to join our Emergency Department at Epworth Richmond. Join a high‑performing, patient‑centred team in a fast‑paced, supportive environment where your clinical leadership will make a real impact. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Emergency nurses looking to step into, or continue growing in, a leadership role within a leading private healthcare organisation.

You will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and assisting in the overall clinical management and contributing your diverse clinical skills and knowledge to our growing service.

Responsibilities

Having a strong leadership presence and delivering an exceptional patient experience within the ward

Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care

Managing clinical risk and implementing process improvements to improve patient outcomes

Working in collaboration with the team and the hospital executive team to ensure patient care is integrated, safe, supportive and of high quality

Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role you will either be in an ANUM role or looking to step into an ANUM role. You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families. You’re keen to progress your career, learn how to lead a unit and are open to mentoring and accessing internal leadership programs that support your journey.

Current AHPRA registration

Emergency Nursing experience essential

Postgraduate Certificate or higher in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing essential

Additional Information The annual salary range for full time ANUM – AUD $115,678–$119,579 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part‑time). Salary package up to $15,900 pre‑tax annually for part‑time.
