Talent Lead | Melbourne CBD | 12 Month FTC | Hybrid working 2 days in office / 3 from home

This is an opportunity to step into a trusted Talent Lead role within a respected statutory organisation in Melbourne. With 150+ employees and a growing People & Culture function, the organisation is entering a period of uplift. Recruitment volume is steady rather than high, with a stronger focus on governance, panel capability, and improving how hiring is delivered across the business. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening recruitment practice and elevating stakeholder confidence in the process.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing end to end recruitment across professional and specialist roles

Strengthening documentation, compliance and panel processes

Coaching hiring managers on structured interviewing and bias awareness

Improving system usage and onboarding workflows

Acting as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional recruiter

Hybrid working model, two days in office

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in Talent Acquisition (2-3 years+)

Experience within government, health, education or regulated environments highly regarded

Demonstrated ability to streamline or improve recruitment processes

Confident stakeholder advisor with strong influencing capability

Comfortable operating autonomously and taking ownership
