Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, we have an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to manage technical, operational, and commercial responsibilities whilst reducing delivery and governance risk. You will also maintain workload balance within the project team. This role is essential to sustaining performance, meeting work commitments, and supporting ongoing project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors
Plan, coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements
Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress
Preparation of progress and compliance reporting
Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of the project
Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
Verification of subcontractors' claims and variations
Manage and lead personnel; prioritise work efficiently
About You
Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.
Minimum of 5 Years engineering experience in the rail industry
Project planning / management skills
Experienced and able to prepare and analyse tenders and estimates
Demonstrated ability in proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities
Ability to lead and inspire teams
Well-developed conceptual, analytical and planning skills
