There are multiple positions available in this service.

Consultant remuneration package of $385,000 - $534,000. + generous relocation allowances.

Includes up to $33k paid professional development allowance.

80hr fortnight with structured work life balance.

Excellent peer support towards FRANZP.

RANZCP accredited department for supervision and professional development.

Generous on-call, recall and penalty shift allowances.

Service

Care is provided across inpatient, community, emergency psychiatric care, liaison and HiTH. The service model has a collaborative multidisciplinary approach including primary care, patients and famiies with an emphasis on therapy and rehabilitation programs. Care services are distributed across 5 communities in this region South of Perth. The service’s values are Care, Integrity, Teamwork, Respect and Excellence.

Job

Here you will lead the multidisciplinary team providing clinical and team leadership, supervision and education for junior doctors and colleagues in training.

The key areas of responsibility are:

Clinical

Education, training and research.

Clinical governance , quality improvement.

Service selection criteria

FRANZCP or equivalent.

Interested candidates eligible for the RANZCP accelerated pathway or ESP will be highly regarded.

Broad experience in adult psychiatry.

Strong collaborative ethos and skills.

Strong commitment to public health services.

Commitment to improving patient and community health and safety.

Commitment to professional development.
