Locum CMO/ED

Join a collaborative regional hospital team for a rewarding locum in the beautiful Manning Valley The Job Setting: High volume regional hospital with over 30,000 Emergency Department (ED) presentations annually. You’ll be part of a well‑supported team structure, working alongside FACEM’s, VMO's, GPs, and Junior Medical Officers. The hospital has over 150 beds and provides a wide spectrum of services, including emergency care, maternity services, general surgery, and rehabilitation, offering a rich clinical environment.

Hours Various shifts available weekdays, weekends and nights. In‑charge and non‑in‑charge shifts available.

Rate Hourly rate varies – higher rates apply for urgent shifts.

Provisions Accommodation provided & travel up to $800 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).

Where you’ll be working You will be locuming in the beautiful coastal town of Taree. This region offers a diverse array of leisure activities set amid stunning natural surroundings. When not on shift, you can explore the rugged beauty of Crowdy Head National Park, walk along the scenic coastline, or enjoy a stroll along the wide, pristine sands of Old Bar Beach. The Manning River itself is a hub for activity, perfect for fishing and kayaking. For a relaxed day out, take a scenic drive through the lush Manning Valley, visit local wineries to sample award‑winning drops, or stop at the farmers’ markets for fresh produce. Round out your downtime with a round of golf, a swim at the Taree Aquatic and Leisure Centre, or a visit to the Taree Art Gallery to take in local culture.
